Often, a desire to change our lives lulls us into an opportunity that only lines the pockets of somebody else. This happens because there are experts in the field who know how to capitalize on your dreams, and they know how to present their programs so it appeals to you. They have you pegged the minute they begin talking to you and so they know what tools to use in manipulating you.

Whose Business Is It?
A mistake I made was leaving the success of my business in the hands of my upline. I respected him, and his level of success was impressive. My husband did not support my efforts in the business at the time, so there was no male role model for the men who were interested in joining my business.
At first, I thought that men did not respect me leading them because I was a women. I realized later, that men respect an effective leader and being a woman had nothing to do with it. My own insecurities made it difficult for me to act like a leader for my downline, so I left that role up to my sponsor. That decision was a big mistake…..
Why Downline Stop Producing
Upline in network marketing often put a lot of pressure on downline to perform, especially when someone stops producing or begins to give excuses. Because a person seems uncommitted or confused about what he or she really wants, an upline will often drop working with him or her all together because it isn’t worth the time. It’s just “The Nature of the Beast” for most Network Marketers. It’s a sad story, but one I hear over and over again.
Success Depends on You
Be of good cheer. Do not think of today’s failures, but of success that may come tomorrow. You have set yourselves a difficult task, but you will succeed if you persevere; and you will have a joy in overcoming obstacles—a delight in climbing rugged paths which you would perhaps never know if you did not sometimes slip backward, if the road were always smooth and pleasant. Remember, no effort that we make to attain something beautiful is ever lost. ~ Helen Keller.

When we understand the principles that make us happy and feel joy in our souls, then we can live a quality and satisfied life–whether we succeed or fail in the business ventures that we choose. We will all fail, at one point or another, before we learn what works. This is all part of maturing and growing emotionally and spiritually. However, what really matters is how we handle our failures and successes. This is what makes us who we are, and contributes to being satisfied with who we are! I am pleased with the person I have become. Can you say the same?
Why Do We Make Network Marketing So Difficult?
Network Marketing is not as difficult as it may seem or that we make it! It’s difficult because there are too many so-called experts who are anxious to tell you (or sell you) their newest and proven tecnniques for creating wealth. I do not include Mike Dillard or Mike Klingler in that group. But this belief is exactly the opposite of what you need to be thinking when you build a successful life and business.
Hype Is Bad For Business
The problem with Network Marketing is that, by its very nature, there will always be zealots who make statements that may not be completely true in order to get signups. In addition, some of them want to get hold of the newbie’s name list so they can sell those names later as leads when people drop out.
Are You Really Winning?
Let me share with you the email I received from Mike Dillard today.
Perhaps you will find some of yourself in this email.
Mike Dillard is one man you should listen to because he’s been where we are now. In fact he knows things I’ve never thought about before, and I’m sure you will discover the same thing is true for you as well.
Let’s Talk About Hype
First, let me say that Quixtar/Amway are the examples used in this video but they are not the ones making the claims. The upline “big shot” is the one making the claims.
Hype is commonly used to entice people to join a Network Marketing business, it’s just the nature of the beast, and the presentation of the plan is where it surfaces.
